Overview:
We are seeking a collaborative and motivated Family Physician to join our team at a well-established Walk-In and Family Practice Medical Clinic. Our multidisciplinary team currently includes four Family Physicians who work alongside an experienced pharmacist offering consultation services to support optimal medication use and treatment planning. The onsite pharmacy also administers select vaccinations, enhancing the comprehensive care available to our patients. The clinic is further equipped with an in-house blood laboratory, providing services such as biochemistry testing, blood collection, injections, and pregnancy testing, offering added convenience to our patients. Due to the planned retirement of one of our tenured physicians, there is an immediate opportunity for an incoming physician to assume a full, established patient roster.

• Well-established clinic of nearly 10 years with 4 family physicians currently operating in a FHG model

• Clinic inbox is monitored by artificial intelligence to relieve physicians of as many administrative burdens as possible

• EMR is Oscar PRO will full built-in billing and reconciliation capabilities

• Digital faxing and VOIP phone system with APP

• E-results are sent directly into charts with sophisticated integration into Dynacare and Lifelabs

• Tenured administrative staff capable of performing vaccinations and blood draws

What you will be doing:

• The ideal candidate will be committed to diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, promoting preventive healthcare, and contributing meaningfully to the overall health and well-being of the community.

What you must have:

• Licensure with the CPSO or eligibility to obtain licensure

• Certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) or equivalent

• Current Medical Liability Insurance (CMPA coverage)

Salary/Rate Range: $250,000 - $500,000

• Participate in an enhanced fee-for-service model (FHG) where physician compensation is a combination of billing the OHIP schedule of benefits codes along with additional bonuses for after-hours care and preventative medicine
