What you will be doing:

Coordinates the interface between logistics functions such as procurement, transportation, and warehousing to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective support to the customer.

Coordinates with customers to ensure desired logistics objectives, priorities, and schedules are met and communicated to managers.

Serves as the main point of contact with carriers to ensure pick-ups, deliveries and documentation are processed correctly and resolves all order and shipment discrepancies.

Ensures all international and domestic shipments have the correct INCOTERM and all shipments are compliant with proper customs regulations, such as NAFTA Cert. FCC, and all other documents.

Deals with shipment claims and provides management with up-to-date, accurate records of shipments and deliveries in terms of cost, volume, nature of goods and couriers.

Collects, verifies and updates documentation related to transport, Customs, export and import procedures. Ensures that goods are received against an open purchase order, in the quantity required and in good condition.

Maintains the receiving log and ensures all incoming goods are entered. Follows up with purchasing on inaccurate items.

Acquires quotations for any domestic and International shipments.

Tracks shipments from the issuance of customs documentation and/or PO to delivery to the final destination.

Responsible for CM/ Configuration Management Data entry of project and non-project hardware.

Make recommendations and productivity improvements, and implement agreed-upon changes to optimize the process.
What you must have:

Minimum 2 years of related experience.

Asset - In-depth knowledge on: Handling of Carnet shipments; Dangerous Goods; ITAR / Canadian Controlled Goods and Trade show shipments.

Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and time management are essential. Must be computer literate.

Requires high school graduation or equivalent, relevant post-secondary training
Salary/Rate Range: $55,000 - $60,000 /annually CAD
