What you will be doing:

• Design and develop GIS applications and services tailored for electric utilities, distributed energy resources (DERs), and smart grid assets knowledge of IED Faceplates an asset. 

• Lead GIS implementations using Esri ArcGIS Enterprise/Online in cloud environments (Azure preferred) with security and scalability in mind.

• Integrate EcoStruxure Power Monitoring Expert (PME) and Building Operation with GIS dashboards to visualize asset health, consumption, and grid connectivity.

• Build web-based dashboards, field apps, and operational interfaces using Experience Builder, Web AppBuilder, and ArcGIS API for JavaScript

• Collaborate with OT/IT teams to link GIS with SCADA systems, real-time data feeds, and IoT telemetry

• Manage spatial databases (PostGIS, SQL Server, or Oracle) with asset location intelligence and sensor data integration

• Support technical workshops, training sessions, and long-term solution adoption with energy sector clients

What you must have:

• 6+ years of experience in GIS software development and enterprise implementation, preferably in electric utilities, renewables, or energy infrastructure

• Deep proficiency in Esri’s cloud-native tools, including ArcGIS Online, Enterprise, and utility network modeling

• Hands-on experience with EcoStruxure platforms, particularly PME and Power SCADA operations

• Strong programming background in Python, JavaScript, and data automation (FME or ETL frameworks)

• Familiarity with IEC standards, OGC/WMS/WFS protocols, and energy sector cybersecurity consideration

• Excellent client engagement, documentation, and presentation skills
