We are seeking a dynamic Marketing/Proposal Writer Director to lead and grow our marketing efforts within a collaborative and technically driven team. This is a hands-on role that balances 50% proposal development with high-level marketing leadership, team facilitation, and content creation. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, a detailed organizer, and a creative thinker who can pull compelling narratives out of complex technical information.
What you will be doing:
Proposal & Qualifications Development

Lead the development, writing, and production of compelling RFP/RFQ responses and presentations.

Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to gather, synthesize, and articulate technical content into polished proposals.

Manage deadlines, submission requirements, and quality control for all marketing deliverables.
Marketing Leadership

Facilitate and lead bi-weekly marketing meetings, supporting planning, strategy, and execution.

Guide brand messaging, storytelling, and voice across all channels.

Collaborate with marketing support staff, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Content Creation & Design

Write, design, and produce marketing collateral including company portfolios, award submissions, resumes, project sheets, and SOQs.

Maintain marketing materials that reflect evolving capabilities and project successes.

Collaborate on internal and external communications to align with brand values and business development goals.
Social Media & Digital Presence

Manage and grow the firm’s presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms.

Coordinate regular website updates, project features, and news stories.
Database & Asset Management

Maintain CRM and marketing databases (Deltek Vantage Point/CRM experience preferred).

Organize and update project photos, staff bios, and firm history across all materials.

Track pursuit outcomes and marketing KPIs to guide strategy.
What you must have:

???????5–10 years of marketing experience, preferably within the A/E/C or professional services industry.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or related field.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience with Deltek Vantage Point or similar CRM software is a strong asset.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling abilities.

Proven ability to work independently while being highly collaborative across departments and personality types.

Ability to draw out technical information from busy professionals and turn it into clear, compelling content.
