Overview:
Are you a results-driven sales leader with experience in trucks, trailers, transportation, or logistics? We’re hiring a Sales Manager to lead and grow a high-performing sales team in the Grande Prairie region. This position offers significant earning potential and the opportunity to join a growing, high-energy team making a major impact in the transportation sector. You will be responsible for managing, mentoring, and motivating a team of Territory Managers to drive revenue, improve customer satisfaction, and grow market share across the region. This role focuses on providing solutions for transportation and heavy-haul trailer needs, ensuring clients benefit from a full suite of offerings.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Lead and develop a team of Territory Managers to achieve sales targets and regional growth goals

  • Monitor and manage key financial metrics, including sales revenue, margins, and profitability

  • Maintain proper levels of new, used, and rental inventory

  • Define and track KPI performance for the sales team; provide coaching and support as needed

  • Conduct regular team meetings, set expectations, and provide guidance on regional strategies

  • Maintain and develop key client relationships, particularly with major accounts

  • Analyze regional market trends and competitor activity; adjust strategies as needed

  • Collaborate closely with senior management to align on business goals and share market intelligence


What you must have:

  • Proven sales management experience in transportation, trucks, logistics, or heavy equipment

  • Strong industry knowledge of trucks, trailers, or heavy-haul equipment

  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to recruit, train, and motivate a results-oriented sales team

  • Ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers

  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset and a drive to win

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools

Additional Requirements

  • Must be willing to travel as needed throughout the region

  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license required; abstract may be requested

  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid passport and travel internationally
     

Salary/Rate Range: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00
