Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Sr. Test Specialist to lead the testing and training activities across end-to-end ServiceNow implementations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in ServiceNow QA and training, particularly within ITSM environments, and is eager to contribute to a dynamic and mission-driven organization.


What you will be doing:

  • Validate ServiceNow application functionality developed by developers and system administrators before promoting configurations to production.

  • Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases across various testing phases (unit, functional, integration, system, regression, performance).

  • Build and maintain automated tests using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).

  • Manage and execute quality assurance activities supporting ServiceNow projects, enhancements, and defect resolutions.

  • Track, report, and coordinate defect resolution efforts with the ServiceNow platform team.

  • Estimate testing effort and timelines; provide input to project managers and scrum masters.

  • Guide customers through user acceptance testing (UAT) including test case creation, execution, and documentation.

  • Coordinate UAT testing with clients and maintain a repository of test cases and artifacts.

  • Ensure testing processes meet auditing and compliance standards.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve QA and testing methodologies.

  • Provide training and support for ServiceNow modules, particularly in ITSM; prior experience with ITOM components is a plus.


What you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

  • Minimum 5 years of ServiceNow training and QA experience.

  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules, particularly ITSM.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams.

  • Proficient in creating and executing test plans and cases, and using defect tracking tools.

  • Experience with ServiceNow ATF; familiarity with other automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, TestNG) is a plus.

  • Ability to manage multiple testing efforts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership and collaborative team experience.
