Overview:
The Data Conversion Lead will be responsible for the Data Conversion workstream of an Oracle Cloud implementation. They will also be responsible for working with the system integrator, customer business and IT resources, consultants, and Oracle support on the resolution of any issues as they occur in the Oracle ERP and Cloud systems. The Data Conversion Lead will have comprehensive knowledge of the dependencies and relationships between Oracle ERP Cloud functionality. The primary emphasis will be on the Payroll, SCM and Financial modules and the Data Conversion Lead is expected to have proficient functional knowledge in these areas.
What you will be doing:

Engage in planning activities related to the data conversion cut-off period and legacy system instance refresh schedules.

Communicate system refresh dates to all relevant boundary system stakeholders to ensure alignment and readiness.

Hold the System Integrator (SI) accountable for updating all functional specifications and data mapping documentation.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate data extraction criteria prior to the commencement of the conversion cycle.

Enforce adherence to governance protocols for any changes, ensuring all decisions are documented through the RAID log and approved accordingly.

Provide active support to data validators by facilitating access to Oracle data reconciliation reports necessary for validation execution.

Perform proactive validation of key data components through spot checks within Oracle to ensure data integrity.

Evaluate SI-provided data reconciliation reports and coordinate necessary modifications with SI to ensure accuracy and completeness

Assist data validators in understanding and utilizing seeded Oracle reports for effective validation.

Ensure the SI completes all required cross-functional steps following data conversion.

Provide assistance to the business in achieving penny-to-penny reconciliation of financial data.
What you must have:
-
Bachelor of Science or equivalent and 7 years work experience in computer sciences or related field, or equivalent combination. Oracle certifications are a plus.

Minimum 7 years of experience working with Oracle Cloud ERP, support, upgrades, migrations, and development.

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Conversion Lead

Extensive experience with data conversions using Oracle FBDI

Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.

Analyzes and evaluates business requirements by working with business users and management. Provides recommendations on the nature, scope, and complexity of solutions.

Experience in Setups / Data flows / Functionality.
-
Experience in integrating Oracle ERP Cloud and with other applications, e.g. Salesforce etc.

Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) lifecycle.

Prepare high-level data migration strategy, mapping, and architecture documents for migrating data into Oracle ERP Cloud. Should be well versed with FBDI, ADFDI, Import Maps, and other data migration solutions.

Understanding of security architecture, user roles, and data access in Oracle Cloud. Ability to create custom roles as per business requirements.

Excellent communication and leadership skills managing technical design workshops, development of RICE objects, and communicating status.

Proven analytical skills.

Ability to effectively communicate with all levels.

Strong documentation skill.

Ability to lead development and implementation efforts with both system integrator and internal teams and working with both technical and business users.
Salary/Rate Range: $105.00 -$135.00 per hour
