Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's team in Nisku. This role will support financial planning, analysis, and reporting while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and driving operational efficiency. The successful candidate will bring strong technical skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate financial insights across the organization.


What you will be doing:

  • Conduct balance sheet and cash flow reconciliations, reporting, and analysis.

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Assist with forecast and budget preparation, ensuring accurate variance analysis.

  • Develop Power BI integrations to enhance financial reporting and FP&A capabilities.

  • Manage cross-business unit CAPEX registrations and maintain alignment with fleet reporting.

  • Oversee PO compliance KPIs and ensure adherence to financial controls and procurement policies.

  • Participate in month-end close, including journal entries, accruals review, and project P&L audits.

  • Assist with intercompany reconciliations and reporting packages.

  • Ensure proper recording and reconciliation of transactions to maintain audit readiness.

  • Support internal and external audit requests with complex analysis and reporting.

  • Identify and implement process improvements in procurement, billing, and reporting.

  • Provide financial modeling and simulations to support strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate with depot managers and cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy.

  • Provide guidance on complex accounting issues, reconciliations, and process improvements.

  • Support the Finance Manager with strategic financial planning, forecasting, and business analysis.


What you must have:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial analysis, and FP&A.

  • Strong proficiency in MS Dynamics 365, Advanced Excel, and Power BI.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to financial and non-financial stakeholders.

  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
