Overview:
One of the largest physician-owned neurology clinics in the Midwest, serving 55,000 patients every year. Subspecialities include multiple sclerosis, dementia, stroke, sleep medicine, headache, epilepsy, and neuromuscular disorders. Our comprehensive approach to patient care includes neuropsychology, infusion services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and neurodiagnostic services. We are seeking a dedicated neurohospitalist to join our inpatient neurology team, providing comprehensive care for patients with acute neurological conditions in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will manage a range of diagnoses, including cerebrovascular disorders, seizures, neuromuscular disorders, and other non-surgical neurological emergencies.


What you will be doing:

• Provide inpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and management of neurological conditions

• Perform and interpret neurological examinations, imaging studies, and diagnostic tests

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including hospitalists, intensivists, neurosurgeons, and rehabilitation specialists

• Participate in rapid response and acute care consults

• Contribute to clinical quality initiatives, documentation, and electronic medical records

• Optional: Engage in resident or medical student teaching

Schedule

• 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

• 7 days on and 7 days off

What you must have:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology

• Fellowship in neurohospitalist medicine, neurocritical care, or vascular neurology preferred, but not required

• Active or eligible for state medical licensure

• Strong communication skills and a team-based approach to patient care

• Base compensation of $375,000+
