Overview:
As a Innovation project manager, this role will support the innovation team by delivering new technology; Trials, Pilots, Demonstrations and Research. This includes but is not limited to new energy management products and services. The position will support multiple program managers on larger projects and independently manage trials, pilots and research projects The successful candidate will have experience in project management, program/product development and the management of multiple projects. The candidate will need to work with other product teams to transition trials and testing into new product offerings and new operational initiatives. The role will require abilities in working in cross-functional teams, and external stakeholder/vendor relationship management. The position will be results-oriented, have an exceptional customer centric orientation, and take a practical and creative approach to effectively resolve problems. The position will directly support the implementation of new technology; trials, demonstrations and testing utilizing best practices in research, analytics, data analysis and research design.
What you will be doing:

Support the Innovation team to manage and deliver technology trials and demonstrations across multiple customer segments.

Ensure that any data collected during trials is complete and provide some analysis, screening and quality control on trial and pilot data collection.

Perform market research and customer feedback research for trials and pilots

Perform vendor management, contract management and procurement activities related to innovation trials and pilots.

Manage the recruitment of customer sites for trials and pilots, through direct and indirect recruitment methods. Using the company's channels as well as leveraging external agencies, stakeholders and their networks.

Monitor the project progress, schedule, and financials to ensure projects remain on track and within budget.

Run regular and ad hoc project update meetings and design workshops to ensure regular communication amongst program stakeholders.
What you must have:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or related discipline

Bachelor’s degree Engineering, an asset

Project Management Professional (PMP®) designation, preferred

Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)

Advanced English skills for professional environment, written and spoken
Salary/Rate Range: $53.00 -$65.00 per hour
Term: 12-month contract; most likely to extend
