Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee commercial metal door, frame, and hardware installation projects in the Edmonton area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading teams in the field, solving problems on the fly, and ensuring high-quality results from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, supervising installation crews, and coordinating with general contractors and project managers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

What you will be doing:

• Supervise and coordinate installation crews and subcontractors on active job sites.

• Oversee daily site operations to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

• Lead and support field staff, promoting teamwork, quality, and productivity.

• Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and hardware schedules.

• Verify deliveries, manage materials, and ensure efficient use of resources.

• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and maintain accurate documentation.

• Collaborate with project management and sales teams to address issues and maintain timelines.

• Enforce safety policies and promote a strong safety culture across all job sites.

What you must have:

• Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience in construction or installation.

• Hands-on experience with metal door, frame, and hardware installation is required.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.

• Experience with fabrication and/or access control systems is considered an asset.

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of Alberta Building Code and OH&S safety standards.

• Proficient with digital tools and reporting software.

• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel between job sites.
