Overview
A global manufacturer of electrical test and measurement equipment is seeking a skilled Technical Services / Repair Technician to join its North American service team. This position supports the repair, calibration, and testing of precision electronic instruments used in power systems, utilities, and industrial environments. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical expertise with strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to accuracy, quality, and customer satisfaction.
What you will be doing:

Perform detailed diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, and component-level repairs on advanced electrical and electronic instruments.

Use test equipment such as digital multimeters (DVMs), oscilloscopes, power supplies, and computer-based test programs to verify product performance.

Support calibration and metrology procedures to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.

Document service results accurately within established work order and ERP systems.

Collaborate with engineering, quality, and customer service teams to resolve complex service issues and maintain exceptional customer satisfaction.
What you must have:

Minimum 2 years’ experience repairing or servicing electronic equipment (preferably instrumentation or electrical test devices).

Associate degree or equivalent in electronics technology, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.

Solid understanding of both digital and analog circuitry; ability to read and interpret schematics.

Experience with metrology or calibration operations is an asset.

Strong computer proficiency and comfort with electronic documentation systems.

Excellent communication and customer service skills; fluent in English.

Must be a U.S. citizen to perform work at certain government or defense-related facilities.

Physically able to move or handle up to 40 pounds unassisted.
