Location: Vaughan, Ontario - Hybrid

Overview:
Our client is a global technology consulting and digital engineering firm headquartered in Toronto, with delivery centers across North America and India. We build modern, cloud-native, AI-enabled digital platforms for Fortune 500 and mid-market enterprises. Our engineering-led, design-thinking DNA drives innovation across industries like Retail, Energy & Utilities, Financial Services, and Industrial IoT. Our clients include world's leading brands in retail, CPG, financial services, utilities amongst other verticals. They are seeking a highly organized, hands-on, and strategic leader to serve as Director of Strategic Accounts, managing the company’s top enterprise clients. This person will combine exceptional relationship skills with program management discipline, ensuring client satisfaction, delivery excellence, and growth across multiple accounts. The ideal candidate has deep experience in technology professional services, operating within a U.S./Canada–India hybrid delivery model, and is passionate about building AI- and cloud-native solutions that drive real business impact.

What you will be doing:
Client Leadership & Growth

  • Serve as the executive relationship leader across TechBlocks’ top enterprise clients.

  • Build deep, trusted partnerships with C-level and V-level executives (CIO, CTO, CDO, CPO, VP Engineering, CEO).

  • Define and execute multi-year account strategies focused on digital transformation, AI, and cloud modernization.

  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and drive proposal development in collaboration with practice and delivery teams.

Program Governance & Operational Execution

  • Be extremely organized and disciplined in managing complex enterprise programs with multiple workstreams.

  • Own and manage delivery governance, including tracking budgets, milestones, resourcing, and customer satisfaction across accounts.

  • Stay hands-on — proactively track resource pipelines, hiring statuses, and utilization across global teams; manage risks and dependencies in real time.

  • Work closely with delivery leaders, HR, and resource management to ensure programs meet or exceed expectations.

  • Conduct regular health checks, QBRs, and governance reviews to maintain alignment with client business outcomes.

Global Delivery Collaboration

  • Operate seamlessly across onshore, nearshore, and offshore teams — leveraging the company’ Global Capability Center (GCC) model.

  • Bridge delivery and strategy teams across Canada, the U.S., and India to ensure alignment and velocity.

  • Champion the company's culture rooted in transparency, collaboration, and innovation.

What you must have:

  • 15+ years in IT professional services or digital engineering firms; 5+ years in senior account or client partner roles managing large enterprise portfolios.

  • Proven success managing $10M+ accounts with distributed delivery models (U.S./Canada + India).

  • Strong understanding of digital transformation, AI/ML, data & analytics, and cloud-native software development (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Must have a background in technology services/software engineering, not in infrastructure, licensing, or product resale.

  • Exceptional program management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple enterprise programs simultaneously.

  • Hands-on leader with attention to detail, ability to dive into the trenches, manage resourcing and hiring risks, and drive outcomes proactively.

  • Skilled at working with senior executives, influencing strategic agendas, and driving client success through operational excellence.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, growth-driven attitude, and strong business acumen.

Other Information:
Why our client

  • Work directly with Fortune 500 executives and digital transformation leaders.

  • Be part of a fast-growing, AI-native software engineering firm redefining global delivery through our GCC-as-a-Service model.

  • Collaborate with global teams in Canada, the U.S., and India on cutting-edge cloud and AI initiatives.

  • Competitive compensation, performance incentives, and a culture that values ownership, agility, and innovation.

  • Travel: up to 50% to U.S. and India
