Overview
A global leader in electrical and water infrastructure technology is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive business growth across the Mid-West for its advanced water leak detection and monitoring solutions. This role combines technical field expertise with consultative sales, supporting municipalities, utilities, and industrial clients that rely on precision leak-location and flow-monitoring tools.
What you will be doing:

Develop new business through prospecting, cold calls, and in-person customer visits.

Manage the full sales cycle — from product demos and presentations to post-sale support.

Deliver field applications training and product demonstrations once fully onboarded.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the U.S. and internationally to align technical and commercial objectives.

Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.

Provide responsive technical and customer support to ensure issue resolution and client satisfaction.
What you must have:

Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in a technical or manufacturing environment; water industry experience preferred.

Familiarity with or willingness to learn ultrasonic flowmeters, pressure data loggers, and acoustic leak detection tools.

Strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate complex product applications clearly.

Skilled in CRM systems, data analysis, and presentation software.

Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.

Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working independently with significant travel.
Nice to have:

Consultative, hands-on salesperson with a problem-solving mindset.

Background in municipal water systems, utilities, or infrastructure technology is a strong asset.
