What you will be doing:

• The dentist is responsible for providing dental services for individuals living at the Supported Living Center and certain identified individuals living in community-based settings, including advanced dental care and treatment to elevate the oral hygiene of all individuals. The Dentist is responsible to implement best and safe practices in treatment.

• Provide timely, and accurate charting of clinical encounters using our electronic medical and dental records of the residents with intellectual disabilities.

• Written treatment plan with justification of irreversible dental treatments.

• Must be able to work in a team environment.

• Must have good communication skills, organizing, and able to present information.

• Able to work with minimal supervision.

 Assigned Schedule

• 4 Day/10-hour day schedule.

• *Tuesday-Friday schedule after required training. No after hour call.

What you must have:

• Must be licensed as a dentist by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners.

• Must have current unrestricted registration certificate from the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).

• Must possess a National Provider Identifier (NPI#). 

• Must complete facility and HHSC required training

• Dentist must be proficient in computers/electronic health records.
