Overview:
We’re seeking a knowledgeable, detail-driven Payroll Specialist. Someone who goes beyond data entry and truly understands the full scope of payroll compliance and accuracy. This role requires a strong command of wage and hour laws, including meal breaks and related penalty regulations, as well as a commitment to auditing and validating payroll before processing.


What you must have:

• 3–5 years of hands-on payroll experience; must be a true payroll specialist

• Strong understanding of wage and hour law, including meal period requirements and penalties

• Comfortable using ADP, running reports, and conducting audits with the ability to explain findings clearly

• Meticulous in reviewing payroll registers to ensure accuracy prior to submission

• High school diploma required; some college coursework (minimum 2 years) preferred

• HR certification preferred

Salary/Rate Range: $68,640 – $75,000 annually DOE
