Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to provide quality healthcare services across two correctional facilities. The NP will work 4 days during a Monday to Friday workweek  up to 32 hours and play a key role in delivering compassionate, comprehensive patient care in collaboration with the onsite medical team.


What you will be doing:

• Provide primary and preventive care to adult patients within the correctional system.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.

• Manage an average caseload of 10–12 patients per day (subject to facility needs).

• Perform minor procedures as appropriate (preferred but not required).

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure continuity and quality of care.

• Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation in accordance with facility and state guidelines.

What you must have:

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a primary care setting required.

• Current BLS certification.

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

• Ability to adapt to varying patient volumes and facility operations.

• Prior correctional or institutional healthcare experience a plus.
