Overview:
Our client is seeking a junior level associate with a minimum of one year experience to join its commercial litigation group in New York.


What you must have:

• Large law-firm or established boutique experience is required. 

• The candidate should have experience in commercial litigation pending in state and federal courts or arbitrations, including managing cases; drafting and research responsibility for pleadings and contested motions (such as motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, preliminary injunction or class certification briefing); taking depositions; propounding written discovery and responses; and arguing motions.

• Candidates should have experience or demonstrated interest in complex litigation-especially areas of focus including disputes concerning contract performance, breach of fiduciary duties, debtor and creditor matters, partnerships and shareholders, supply and vendor agreements, unfair competition, and consumer class actions. 

• Excellent writing and oral advocacy skills are required.

• Clerkship and court experience is not required but a plus.

Salary/Rate Range: $205,000.00 - $330,000.00
