Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in Commercial Online Banking platforms to support the customization and integration of a SaaS-based commercial banking solution.
This role requires strong hands-on experience building and integrating full-scale Commercial Banking solutions — not just exposure, but meaningful, end-to-end involvement in implementation and delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead business requirements gathering, refinement, and backlog management for a Commercial Online Banking platform
- Translate complex commercial banking requirements into detailed technical specifications
- Support customization of a SaaS banking solution in partnership with a vendor
- Drive API and microservices integrations between frontend Commercial UI features and backend/core banking systems
- Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies throughout the development lifecycle
- Collaborate closely with IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors
- Develop solution recommendations based on impact, feasibility, and business value
- Ensure documentation, compliance, and alignment with financial services standards
- Provide guidance and support to digital platform analysts and project team members
What You Bring:
- Strong Commercial Online Banking experience (required)
Proven experience building and integrating commercial banking platforms. Candidates must have spent significant time delivering commercial banking solutions — experience that only “touched” commercial banking is not sufficient. - Experience customizing vendor-based SaaS banking platforms
- Strong API and microservices integration experience, particularly integrating Commercial UI applications with core/downstream systems
- Deep understanding of commercial banking functionality, including:
- Payments & transfers
- E-transfers
- Wire payments
- EFT transactions
- CRA payments
- Treasury and cash management services
- Experience with CBX Commercial Banking platform is highly preferred
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to drive initiatives from concept through delivery
