Overview:
Our client is partnering with a leading organization to hire a Senior Testing Analyst to support enterprise applications and technology initiatives. This role plays a key part in ensuring software applications meet business, technical, and customer requirements through effective manual and automated testing strategies. The Senior Testing Analyst will work closely with development, systems, and business teams to establish quality assurance standards, execute testing plans, and mentor junior testing resources. This is a fully remote position, provided the candidate resides in one of the approved states listed above.
What you will be doing:

Develop and maintain quality assurance standards across the application lifecycle

Lead testing efforts for new applications, enhancements, and vendor software upgrades
-
Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases and scripts
-
Expand and improve automated test coverage using industry-standard tools
-
Review technical documentation to ensure accurate test planning and execution

Collaborate with developers and systems teams on system, regression, load, and acceptance testing
-
Analyze performance and stress testing results
-
Track, document, and coordinate resolution of software defects
-
Communicate testing progress, results, and risks to project managers and leadership
-
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including user story and task flow development

Mentor and support junior testing team members
-
Partner with vendors to validate system functionality and performance
What you must have:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
-
5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
-
Experience with automated testing tools such as Katalon, TOSCA, or Selenium
-
Hands-on experience creating and managing test cases in JIRA, Xray, or ALM
-
Experience establishing QA standards and testing methodologies
-
Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies
-
Experience automating web-based applications and APIs
-
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
-
Experience testing ETL processes and executing SQL queries
-
U.S. Citizenship
-
Ability to obtain a favorable DoD background investigation

Salary/Rate Range: $105K – $111K; Geo Differential Salary: $116K – $122K, based on location
