They are seeking a Business Data Analyst to join their growing analytics function and play a key role in transforming enterprise data into meaningful business insight across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who enjoys working at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution. The Business Data Analyst will partner with cross-functional leadership teams to develop reporting infrastructure, automate data workflows, and build dashboards that support real-time performance tracking and decision-making. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining analytics solutions that translate complex datasets into actionable insights used by senior leadership to guide strategic initiatives and operational improvements.


What you will be doing:
Data Analysis & Insight Development

  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify business trends, risks, and performance drivers

  • Translate business questions into analytical approaches and data-driven recommendations

  • Support quarterly planning and strategic initiatives through reporting and insight delivery

  • Provide analytical support across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams

Reporting & Business Intelligence

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI

  • Build scalable data models and calculations to support enterprise reporting

  • Develop performance scorecards, KPIs, and executive dashboards

  • Present insights in a clear and business-focused manner to stakeholders

Data Architecture & Automation

  • Develop and maintain automated reporting workflows and data pipelines

  • Support the evolution of centralized reporting and data warehouse environments

  • Optimize data integration between internal systems and reporting platforms

  • Improve reporting efficiency through automation and process improvement

Data Quality & Governance

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting solutions

  • Develop and maintain data dictionaries, KPI definitions, and documentation

  • Establish validation processes and data quality standards

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements

  • Identify opportunities for performance improvement through data analysis

  • Provide training and support to business users on reporting tools and dashboards


What you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting roles

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database querying

  • Experience building dashboards and data models in Power BI

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Experience working with data extraction, transformation, and reporting automation

  • Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders


Nice to have:

  • Experience supporting analytics in a manufacturing or consumer goods environment

  • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and ETL processes

  • Experience working with Microsoft 365 tools including SharePoint
