Overview:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Quality Support Specialist to provide non-clinical operational and administrative support to a Clinical Quality team. This role is essential to ensuring quality review workflows run efficiently by coordinating medical record requests, preparing meeting materials, tracking documentation, and supporting quality improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with healthcare administrative or managed care experience who thrives in a fast-paced, highly organized remote environment.
What you will be doing:

Coordinate medical record requests for Potential Quality Issues (PQI) and quality studies

Perform provider follow-ups to obtain missing documentation
-
Prepare and distribute materials for quality meetings and workgroups
-
Track document status and maintain detailed follow-up logs
-
Maintain department files in compliance with confidentiality and security standards
-
Process invoices for medical records and partner with Finance as needed
-
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, fax, and overnight correspondence
-
Support Provider Credentialing Committee activities
-
Assist with data compilation, reporting, and project coordination
-
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings
What you must have:

High School Diploma or GED
-
3+ years of administrative experience or equivalent
-
Experience in one of the following environments:
-
Medical office
-
Health insurance
-
Managed care organization
-

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
-
Ability to work across multiple systems simultaneously

Strong organizational and time-management skills
Nice to have:

Associate degree in Business or Administrative Services

Knowledge of medical terminology

Microsoft OneNote experience

Professional letter writing experience
