What you will be doing:

• Design and develop electrical circuits for machine vision camera boards and associated test systems.

• Plan printed circuit board stackups and layouts in collaboration with PCB layout engineers.

• Select electronic components and develop schematics that meet company design and quality standards.

• Optimize designs for cost efficiency, manufacturability, and testability.

• Perform simulation, debugging, and bring up of new board designs.

• Troubleshoot and improve existing designs in both laboratory and production environments.

• Collaborate with firmware, FPGA, mechanical, thermal, and test engineering teams.

• Document design work and participate in or lead design review meetings.

• Provide technical support to production teams to ensure timely product delivery.

• Contribute ideas and knowledge toward the development of new camera designs.

What you must have:

• Strong experience in analog and digital circuit design.

• Experience with PCB design tools such as Siemens PADS or similar platforms.

• Hands on experience using laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes and multimeters.

• Familiarity with communication protocols including I2C, SPI, UART, USB, and Ethernet.

• Knowledge of high speed signal design and board level interconnects.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform effectively in a fast paced environment.

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience working with components such as ADCs, DACs, switching mode power supplies, LDOs, operational amplifiers, FPGAs, microcontrollers, and fiber optic technologies.

Salary/Rate Range: $114,000.00 - $152,000.00
