What you will be doing:

Take ownership of the full credentialing lifecycle, from verification to ongoing compliance

Serve as the trusted liaison between medical staff and leadership

Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies

Maintain and manage credentialing databases with precision and accuracy

Track licenses, certifications, and clinical privileges to keep teams audit-ready

Lead and support staff meetings, documentation, and credentialing communications

Mentor and train team members, acting as a role model and subject matter expert

Support hearings, appeals, and due process proceedings when needed

Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement meaningful changes

Own and lead strategic projects that drive departmental success
What you must have:

Qualifications

High School Diploma required
-
3+ years of credentialing or related healthcare experience preferred

CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) or
CMSC (Certified Medical Staff Coordinator) preferred -
Confidence in communicating with both clinical staff and leadership

Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines with ease

A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
