What you will be doing:

• Take ownership of the full credentialing lifecycle, from verification to ongoing compliance

• Serve as the trusted liaison between medical staff and leadership

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies

• Maintain and manage credentialing databases with precision and accuracy

• Track licenses, certifications, and clinical privileges to keep teams audit-ready

• Lead and support staff meetings, documentation, and credentialing communications

• Mentor and train team members, acting as a role model and subject matter expert

• Support hearings, appeals, and due process proceedings when needed

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement meaningful changes

• Own and lead strategic projects that drive departmental success

What you must have:

• ??Strong experience in credentialing or medical staff services

• Exceptional organization and attention to detail

• Qualifications

• High School Diploma required

• 3+ years of credentialing or related healthcare experience preferred

• CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) or
  CMSC (Certified Medical Staff Coordinator) preferred

• Confidence in communicating with both clinical staff and leadership

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines with ease

• A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
