Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and experienced CT / X-Ray Technologist to join our team in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. This role is a true hybrid position, with approximately 50% CT (Canon equipment) and 50% general X-ray responsibilities. Flexibility is key, as you will be expected to float between modalities to support patient care needs. In this role, you will utilize advanced imaging technology and clinical expertise to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring accurate interpretation by licensed practitioners while delivering compassionate patient care.
What you will be doing:
General Radiography & CT Imaging

Perform high-quality diagnostic radiography and CT procedures in accordance with physician orders

Operate CT and X-ray equipment, selecting appropriate protocols and exposure factors

Position patients and equipment to capture optimal images while ensuring comfort and safety

Evaluate images for technical accuracy and proper identification prior to submission
Patient Care & Safety

Prepare and educate patients, reducing anxiety and ensuring cooperation

Assess patient condition and respond appropriately during procedures

Administer contrast media and medications as permitted by state regulations and facility policy
-
Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety and universal precautions
-
Provide physical and emotional support throughout the imaging process
Clinical Collaboration & Documentation

Verify and document patient history to support accurate diagnosis
-
Assist physicians with fluoroscopic and interventional procedures
-
Maintain accurate records and ensure proper archival of imaging data
CT-Specific Duties

Operate CT equipment and select appropriate imaging protocols

Perform venipuncture and safely administer contrast when required

Demonstrate competency in imaging head, spine, chest, abdomen, and pelvis

Adjust image parameters and ensure optimal diagnostic quality
Additional Responsibilities

Initiate Basic Life Support (BLS) when necessary

Participate in departmental education and DNV program requirements
-
Support the organization’s mission, values, and operational standards

Float to other areas within scope of competency as needed
What you must have:
Education
-
Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Certifications & Licensure (Required)
-
ARRT (CT) certification
-
OBMI license
-
Current BLS certification
