What You’ll Do:
As an ER RN, you will play a critical role in assessing, prioritizing, and delivering emergency care to patients experiencing a wide range of medical conditions and traumatic injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and ongoing monitoring
• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in critical situations
• Administer medications, IV therapy, treatments, and emergency interventions
• Assist with wound care, splinting, and emergency procedures
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Respond to emergency situations including rapid responses and code blue events
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Accurately document patient care within the electronic medical record
• Advocate for patient safety, dignity, and quality care at all times
• Maintain compliance with infection prevention and hospital safety protocols
• Float to other qualified patient care areas when needed before core staff is floated

Qualifications:
Required:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active Oregon RN License
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
Preferred:
• BSN
• Previous Emergency Department or acute care experience
• Specialty certifications related to Emergency Nursing
