Overview:
We are building the future of insurance. We’re building Canada’s first full-stack AI insurance carrier purpose built for the next generation. We are targeting the next generation of consumers with gamified products (we call it “Win What You Cover”). Customers receive a frictionless process with instant-bind policies and claims 100% handled by AI, requiring no human intervention. This creates a better customer experience, and superior unit economics for our business. We are currently closing a $2M USD pre-Seed round and looking to build fast. In this role, you will help lead the technology agenda, leading development and deployment of our entire tech stack, most critical of which will be our claims handling and fraud detection. You will work side by side with the CEO in building out our product roadmap and determining and executing hiring needs for the team.

What you will be doing:

• Own development of highly critical systems and platforms core to our business

• Work with our founder to execute on our vision

• Build out your team to best serve our product roadmap

What you must have:

• Strong software engineering / computer science background

• Knowledge of ML / AI systems, cloud infrastructure, etc. (security, compliance is a plus)

• Experience building customer-facing products from scratch

• Entrepreneurial and able to thrive in an ambiguous environment

• Prior experience either as a technical Co-Founder or at an early-stage startup is a plus, but not required
