What you will be doing:

• This is the highest accounting and finance position in the company, reporting directly to the CEO.

• The role involves low volume but high dollar transactions (3 to 5 large invoices per month).

• Core duties align with the previous Controller's workload, which included preparing monthly financial reports , managing payroll, bank reporting, and handling remittances for GST and external audits.

• The candidate must act as a liaison and collaborate closely with your external accountant contact.
   

What you must have:

• Technical Skills: Procore software experience is utilized, but a willingness to adapt to new technologies is more important than specific ERP knowledge. Gary is open to switching ERPs in the future.

• Costing Expertise: Construction or job costing experience is a major asset but not strictly mandatory. The candidate must deeply understand indirect, direct, and overhead costs and be able to run costing independently.

• Qualifications: A formal CPA designation is not required. The client prioritizes pure competence and cultural fit.

Salary/Rate Range: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00
