Overview:
We are looking for an experienced SAP Data Conversion Lead to lead the end-to-end data migration workstream for a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation. The successful candidate will own the data conversion strategy and execution, working closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, technical teams, and implementation partners.

What you will be doing:

• Lead the end-to-end SAP data conversion/migration workstream.

• Develop and manage the data migration strategy, plan, scope, timelines, and deliverables.

• Lead legacy data extraction, cleansing, mapping, transformation, loading, validation, and reconciliation.

• Facilitate data mapping and data quality sessions with business SMEs and SAP functional teams.

• Manage master, reference, and transactional data migration across relevant SAP functional areas.

• Lead multiple mock conversion cycles, defect resolution, reconciliation, and business validation.

• Coordinate migration activities and dependencies across functional and technical teams.

• Develop and execute the production cutover/data migration plan.

• Track data conversion risks, issues, dependencies, and readiness.

• Ensure migrated data meets agreed quality, completeness, and reconciliation requirements before business sign-off.

What you must have:

• SAP S/4HANA data migration/conversion experience - ideally multiple full lifecycle implementations.

• Previous experience as a Data Conversion Lead/Data Migration Lead on a large SAP program.

• Strong hands-on understanding of data extraction, cleansing, mapping, transformation, loading and reconciliation.

• Experience migrating both master and transactional data into SAP.

• Experience leading mock conversions and production cutover.

• Knowledge of SAP migration tools such as S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services/BODS, LSMW or similar ETL/migration tools.

• Strong understanding of SAP data objects and dependencies across functional areas.

• Experience managing data quality, validation and reconciliation with business stakeholders.

• Ability to coordinate functional consultants, developers, data analysts, business SMEs and systems integrators.

• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management and issue-resolution skills.

Nice to have:
SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) experience.

• ECC-to-S/4HANA migration experience.

• Experience consolidating data from multiple legacy ERP/source systems.

• Large enterprise SAP transformation experience.

• SAP or data management certification.

Salary/Rate Range: $85.00-$95.00 hourly
