Our client is a leading provider of engineered pumping solutions serving industrial and commercial markets across Western Canada. We specialize in the design, supply, and service of reliable pump systems for stormwater and wastewater management. Our commitment to technical excellence and customer support has earned us a reputation as a trusted industry partner. We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Technical Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team in Port Coquitlam. This position serves as a key link between customers, vendors, and internal departments, supporting the sales cycle from initial inquiry through to order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical aptitude, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset. Technical product training will be provided. Occasional travel may be required for training (U.S.), trade shows, and customer site visits.

What you will be doing:

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries by phone and email, providing quotations, technical assistance, and product information.

• Prepare, issue, and follow up on quotations to ensure timely communication and customer satisfaction.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of company product lines, system applications, and industry standards.

• Review specifications and assist clients in selecting appropriate products and engineered solutions.

• Present technical information effectively to engineers, contractors, and end users.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and order processing.

What you must have:

• 2–5 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or technical support—preferably in pumps, fluid handling, HVAC, or related industrial equipment.

• Strong mechanical or technical aptitude, with a positive, team-oriented, and coachable attitude.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word); ERP system experience considered an asset.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Salary/Rate Range: $60,000-$80,000
 

Other Information:
Compensation and Benefits

• salary, comprehensive employee benefits package including an annual bonus and extended medical/dental. 80%/20%

• Full-time, Monday to Friday schedule (on-site in Port Coquitlam).  8am – 4:30pm..MIGHT be okay.. with someone who wants to do 7am – 330pm.. so not off the table.
