Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Platform System Administrator to support and manage our analytics platform environment. In this role, you will ensure the reliability, availability, performance, and security of core platform components across infrastructure, operating systems, cloud environments, and application layers. You will work closely with cross functional teams to maintain mission?critical systems and enable seamless data operations.

What you will be doing:

• Administer and maintain Linux based operating systems

• Manage infrastructure components including compute, storage, and system resources

• Monitor platform health and performance using system monitoring tools

• Perform backup, restore, and disaster recovery activities

• Support networking functions including firewalls and file transfers

• Administer platform related applications and services

• Manage ETL processes using Ab Initio

• Oversee Alation Data Catalog administration

• Support scheduling and orchestration using AutoSys

• Manage load balancing configurations in HAProxy

• Work with Azure and AWS cloud services to support platform operations

What you must have:

• Proven experience in OS administration with a focus on Linux environments

• Strong infrastructure administration background across compute, storage, and networking

• Demonstrated experience with system monitoring tools and operational dashboards

• Hands?on experience with backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures

• Knowledge of firewalls, networking fundamentals, and secure file transfer mechanisms

• Practical experience administering enterprise applications and platforms

• Experience supporting ETL tools, orchestration platforms, and load balancers

• Familiarity with cloud technologies in Azure and/or AWS

Nice to have:

• Experience with Ab Initio ETL administration

• Experience with Alation Data Catalog

• Experience with AutoSys orchestration

• Experience configuring HAProxy load balancing

• Exposure to hybrid cloud or multi?cloud platform environments

Salary/Rate Range: $50.00 -$55.00/ hour
