Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Automation Engineer to join a rapid-response automation build team. This role is ideal for a hands-on builder who thrives on removing operational friction through intelligent automation. You will work closely with a Senior Automation Engineer to design, build, test, and deploy automated workflows that eliminate manual, repetitive tasks across Enrollment, Clinical, and Provider teams. The focus is on creating scalable, reliable bots using Microsoft Power Automate and lightweight AI tools.
What you will be doing:
Bot Development
-
Develop, configure, and test automation workflows using Microsoft Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop)

Translate approved process designs into reliable production bots

Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and SQL databases
AI-Driven Automation
-
Implement lightweight AI solutions (e.g., Gemini or similar LLM tools) to process and clean structured and unstructured text
-
Replace traditional regex/string parsing with prompt-based AI data extraction
-
Automate processing of enrollment forms and provider communications
Process Identification
-
Partner with business stakeholders to identify repetitive, rule-based, high-volume tasks

Actively scout automation opportunities across operational teams
Maintenance & Monitoring
-
Monitor bot performance and uptime
-
Troubleshoot failed runs and broken selectors (e.g., CareRadius, Anchor Point updates)
-
Ensure stable production performance
Testing & QA
-
Perform Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing
-
Design bots to handle edge cases (timeouts, missing data, validation errors)
Documentation
-
Develop clear Runbooks and Process Definition Documents
-
Ensure automation solutions are scalable and supportable by IT teams
What you must have:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
-
5+ years in Software Development or Data Engineering (ETL & workflow automation focus)

3+ years expert-level Microsoft Power Platform experience (Power Automate Cloud required)

Strong experience with:

REST or SOAP API integrations
-
SQL databases
-
NoSQL environments
-
Complex healthcare system integrations
-

Experience writing effective prompts for LLMs (Gemini, Claude, etc.)

Familiarity with healthcare data privacy standards

Basic scripting knowledge (JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell preferred)

Experience with SharePoint lists/libraries
