What you will be doing:
BI Development & Data Modelling

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI solutions

• Build and optimize semantic models, dashboards, reports, and paginated reports

• Develop advanced DAX calculations and Power Query transformations

• Create scalable star and snowflake schema data models

• Optimize report and dataset performance using:

  • Incremental refresh

  • Composite models

  • Aggregations

• Apply and maintain security models including RLS and OLS

• Conduct code reviews and quality assurance checks across BI artifacts

ETL / ELT & Data Engineering

• Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines integrating data from ERP systems, cloud platforms, and external sources

• Support Databricks notebooks and large-scale data transformation workloads

• Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for enterprise reporting and analytics

• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams on broader Azure platform architecture initiatives

AI & Data Modernization Initiatives

• Support organizational AI readiness initiatives and AI literacy efforts

• Assist with foundational work required for Microsoft Copilot adoption

• Help improve enterprise data classification and governance practices

• Contribute to the development of custom AI-enabled data platforms and agent-based workflows leveraging Databricks and Azure technologies

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business context and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions

What you must have:

• 5+ years of progressive experience in:

  • BI Development

  • Data Engineering

  • Enterprise reporting environments

• Advanced Power BI development experience

• Strong SQL development and optimization experience

• Experience with Azure-based data environments

• Familiarity with Databricks and/or Synapse

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

• Experience working with ERP data environments preferred (D365 F&O / Dynamics AX highly preferred)
