Overview

TEEMA is partnering with a leading healthcare organization to hire a Senior Salesforce Health Cloud Data Engineer to support enterprise Salesforce Health Cloud data integration initiatives.

This position is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting ETL jobs and enterprise data integrations supporting Salesforce Health Cloud implementations. The role participates throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, data analysis, solution design, development, implementation, testing, and post-production support.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Salesforce Architects, Application Developers, Data Architects, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders to design secure, scalable healthcare data solutions supporting enterprise Salesforce Health Cloud initiatives.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL jobs supporting Salesforce Health Cloud.
  • Design and support bidirectional data integrations between originating source systems and Salesforce Health Cloud using Salesforce Data Loader and Azure tools.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Architects to develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models supporting enterprise architecture.
  • Promote and ensure data integrity and accuracy within Salesforce Health Cloud.
  • Ingest, validate, transform, and process structured and semi-structured healthcare data.
  • Apply business rules utilizing Salesforce application development and integration.
  • Perform data conversions, data backloads, and create outbound data files.
  • Develop and coordinate unit and integration testing plans.
  • Prepare test data, conduct testing, evaluate results, and implement code revisions.
  • Analyze, design, and develop code supporting Salesforce integrations with third-party applications, vendors, and API development teams.
  • Implement production changes and provide post-implementation application support.
  • Identify root causes of complex data and integration issues and implement long-term solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance to application developers, data administrators, and business users.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, privacy, DoD, and enterprise security policies.
  • Participate throughout the SDLC and DevOps lifecycle.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field with programming and database systems coursework, or equivalent database development experience.
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to receive a favorable Interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role.
  • 2+ years of experience with Azure.
  • 3+ years of experience developing data integration-related source code in SQL or equivalent.
  • Experience in ETL with both structured and semi-structured data.
  • Experience gathering business requirements from cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with SDLC processes and DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with Databricks, preferably within Azure Cloud.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience with Data Governance.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory or Microsoft SSIS data integration services.
  • Experience with SQL Server and Snowflake in Azure Cloud.
