Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead and manage financial statement audits, compliance audits, reviews, and compilations for clients across a variety of sectors, including for-profit, non-profit, governmental, and ERISA engagements. This role involves planning, budgeting, and overseeing assurance engagements while fostering client relationships and ensuring high-quality service delivery.


What you will be doing:

  • Managing financial statement audits, compliance audits, reviews, compilations, and special projects.
  • Supervising engagement teams and overseeing budgets.
  • Leading engagement staff through all stages of the audit or assurance process.
  • Reporting to engagement leaders on timelines, identified issues, job statuses, and budget goals.
  • Preparing financial statements, footnote disclosures, compliance reports, and client communications.
  • Building strong client relationships and identifying additional service opportunities.
  • Communicating proactively with clients to ensure timely engagement completion.
  • Identifying and implementing new accounting and auditing standards.
  • Collaborating with firm leadership to oversee assurance team performance.
  • Evaluating team member performance and providing growth opportunities.
  • Leading training initiatives and identifying areas for team development.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

What you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
  • CPA certification required.
  • 5+ years of audit experience, preferably in a public accounting environment.
  • Expert knowledge of financial accounting and cost accounting.
  • Proficiency in GAAP and GAAS standards (GAS experience is a plus).
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple engagements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and audit software.
  • Ability to train and mentor team members across skill levels.

Salary/Rate Range:
$80,000 - $125,000 per year (Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.)
