What you will be doing:

• Manage a diverse caseload including divorce, child custody, and other family law matters.

• Draft, review, and negotiate various family law agreements, including prenuptial, postnuptial, and settlement agreements.

• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and alternative dispute resolution processes.

• Conduct thorough legal and factual research to support case strategy and client advice.

• Provide compassionate, pragmatic legal counsel to clients navigating sensitive personal issues.

• Engage in business development initiatives and networking activities to cultivate and maintain client relationships.

What you must have:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.

• 2–5 years of dedicated experience in family law.

• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to manage high-conflict cases with empathy and professionalism.

• Proven capacity for client relationship management and business development.

Salary/Rate Range: $115,000 - $166,000
