Overview:
We are seeking several dedicated General Internal Medicine (GIM) Physicians to join a dynamic and collaborative well-established healthcare system serving a regional population of approximately 170,000 in the Grey Bruce Region. These roles offer an excellent balance of acute care, outpatient services, and regional community clinics. Physicians will have the opportunity to participate in both hospital-based and community-based practice, supporting an integrated model of care delivery across the region.


What you will be doing:

• Emergency Department consultations and admissions to Level 2 Beds
• Manage transfers/admissions to Level 2 Beds from regional hospitals or tertiary centres
• MRP coverage for Level 2 CCU and Step-Down Beds (8–12 patients total, ad hoc admissions)
• Inpatient consultations (Surgery, Hospitalist, Mental Health, Other)
• Support Rural Site Case Conferences for regional hospitals
• Provide phone consultations for regional hospital partners
• Post-Discharge Follow-Up Clinic  
• Rapid Access Referral Clinic
• Participation in diagnostic and outpatient services, including stress testing and other assessments (additional services to be determined)

• Certification in Internal Medicine by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)
• Licensure (or eligibility for licensure) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
• Strong clinical expertise across a broad spectrum of internal medicine
• Commitment to patient-centered care and collaboration within interdisciplinary teams
• Interest in supporting rural healthcare and regional integration of services
• Optional participation in teaching and medical education, with affiliation opportunities through Western University and McMaster University
