Overview:
We're seeking an experienced .NET Software Developer to support a high-impact mobile modernization project. The ideal candidate will lead the transition of an existing mobile app built on Xamarin to the newer .NET MAUI framework. This is a hybrid role with on-site presence in Austin required.


What you will be doing:

• Leading the migration of the TXMAP codebase from Xamarin to .NET MAUI

• Ensuring the ongoing functionality and performance of Android and iOS mobile apps

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders, development teams, and project managers

• Utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET technologies in a mobile-first environment

• Working with JIRA and other Atlassian tools to track progress and resolve issues

What you must have:

• 8+ years of experience with the .NET platform and Microsoft Visual Studio

• 1+ year of hands-on mobile development experience for both Android and iOS

• Preferred: Experience migrating mobile apps from Xamarin to .NET MAUI

• Familiarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite (primarily JIRA)

• Bonus: Experience working on State of Texas applications or within government environments
