Overview:
The Vancouver office of a top-tier national firm is actively seeking a midlevel Banking Associate (3 - 5 years) to join its growing team. 


What you will be doing:
The practice covers a broad range of financing transactions:

• Full spectrum of deal sizes—predominantly mid-market by volume.

• Active collaboration with national offices, particularly on larger Toronto-based financing deals.

• Exposure to a mix of:

  • Private lenders and private institutional lenders.

  • Major Canadian banks.

  • Cross-border and multinational financings.

  • Industry-agnostic work, including real estate-backed financings and maritime shipping finance.

Who you must be/ What you must have:

• Called in 2022 or earlier.

• Strong transactional experience in financing.

• Looking to expand their scope of work to include multinational and cross-office deals.

• Candidates coming from regional firms will particularly benefit from the broader deal exposure and international touchpoints.
