Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN)

Overview:
This is a meaningful on-site opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals battling opioid addiction through safe, ethical, and compassionate care.

What you will be doing:

• Dispense methadone per physician orders and DEA/state guidelines

• Conduct new patient medical histories, obtain vitals, administer TB skin tests

• Document clinical opiate withdrawal symptoms (COWS)

• Monitor and document drug inventory

• Coordinate emergency calls on a rotation (one day/week + weekends)

• Maintain EMR accuracy, medical charts, and compliance documentation

• Prepare the clinic for dosing hours and follow daily cleanliness protocols

• Participate in staff meetings, training, and CEUs to maintain credentials

• Serve as a liaison between clinical, counseling, and medical teams

What you must have:

• Current Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license OR Paramedic certification

• Knowledge of state, federal, and DEA regulations in narcotic treatment

• Familiarity with EMR documentation and clinical protocols

• Ability to follow strict compliance and reporting procedures

• Professionalism, compassion, and communication skills in patient care
