Overview:
We’re looking for a seasoned OpenShift DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Automation team within CE&T as a Senior Consultant. In this strategic role, you’ll lead the design and deployment of Kubernetes/OpenShift solutions, champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, and build secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative infrastructure solutions that meet business objectives while adhering to enterprise standards and controls. This is a hands-on technical leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in automation, containerization, and performance optimization—and is eager to collaborate across teams to drive innovation and excellence.
What you will be doing:

Infrastructure as Code Development
-
Design and develop Kubernetes/OpenShift deployment templates and operators

Automate deployment processes using tools like Ansible Operator
-

CI/CD Pipeline Configuration
-
Build and configure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Tekton
-
Ensure seamless integration and delivery workflows
-

Containerization and Security
-
Build and manage containers using Podman
-
Implement container security best practices including scanning, hardening, and SELinux configuration
-

Infrastructure Deployment and Automation
-
Deploy and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible
-
Deliver repeatable, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions
-

Monitoring and Observability
-
Configure and manage OpenShift monitoring tools
-
Integrate with Splunk and Dynatrace to ensure system reliability and performance
-

Collaboration and Leadership
-
Partner with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with business goals

Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure successful project delivery

What you must have:
-
8+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments and operators
-
Experience with OpenShift templates, Tekton pipelines, and Ansible Operator
-
Proficiency in building containers using Podman and securing them with SELinux
-
Strong background in infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and make effective time allocation decisions
