Overview:
We’re looking for a seasoned OpenShift DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Automation team within CE&T as a Senior Consultant. In this strategic role, you’ll lead the design and deployment of Kubernetes/OpenShift solutions, champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, and build secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative infrastructure solutions that meet business objectives while adhering to enterprise standards and controls. This is a hands-on technical leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in automation, containerization, and performance optimization—and is eager to collaborate across teams to drive innovation and excellence.

What you will be doing:

  • Infrastructure as Code Development

    • Design and develop Kubernetes/OpenShift deployment templates and operators

    • Automate deployment processes using tools like Ansible Operator

  • CI/CD Pipeline Configuration

    • Build and configure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Tekton

    • Ensure seamless integration and delivery workflows

  • Containerization and Security

    • Build and manage containers using Podman

    • Implement container security best practices including scanning, hardening, and SELinux configuration

  • Infrastructure Deployment and Automation

    • Deploy and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible

    • Deliver repeatable, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions

  • Monitoring and Observability

    • Configure and manage OpenShift monitoring tools

    • Integrate with Splunk and Dynatrace to ensure system reliability and performance

  • Collaboration and Leadership

    • Partner with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with business goals

    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure successful project delivery


What you must have:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments and operators

  • Experience with OpenShift templates, Tekton pipelines, and Ansible Operator

  • Proficiency in building containers using Podman and securing them with SELinux

  • Strong background in infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and make effective time allocation decisions

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
