What you will be doing:

  • Act as a subject matter expert, leading and supporting change management strategies and activities specifically for the cybersecurity initiative.

  • Advise, empower, and provide guidance to leaders and teams on implementing change management strategies and plans related to cybersecurity adoption.

  • Adapt and apply the company's change management framework, processes, and tools to help drive successful change in the context of cybersecurity implementation.

  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and change readiness assessments specific to the cybersecurity

  • transformation, defining and understanding the change impacts and potential barriers for successful implementation.

  • Develop and continuously improve the change management plan and tools based on stakeholder

  • feedback and input, tailored to the unique challenges of cybersecurity adoption.

  • Maintain an understanding of emerging trends and best practices in both change management and cybersecurity models.

  • Provide guidance in decision-making around cybersecurity-related change impacts, engaging stakeholders at all levels to gain their support in championing the new security model.

  • Foster trust and credibility through ongoing, clear communication about the cybersecurity initiative, its benefits, and its impacts on the organization.

  • Other tasks as reasonably required by the the company's Project Manager.


What you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline. 6+ years of relevant experience in change management, with a focus on IT or cybersecurity initiatives.

  • Experience working with and leading cross-functional teams in technology-driven transformations.

  • Change Practitioner Certification (PROSCI, CCMP or similar).

  • Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) or demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity principles.

  • Company has an existing (at time of submission) and ongoing contract with Candidate.


Nice to have:

  • Public Sector experience is an asset.

  • Advanced knowledge of change management principles and methodologies.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and their organizational impacts.

  • Solid ability to interpret cybersecurity data and make data-driven recommendations.

  • Advanced technical writing skills, able to create reports and documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies in the context of cybersecurity implementations.
