Overview:
We are partnered with a global leader in gas generation systems used in laboratory and analytical applications, who are looking to add a Field Service Engineer to their technical service team. This person will be responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, and supporting nitrogen generation systems used alongside analytical instruments such as LC/MS systems in research, life sciences, and toxicology labs. This is a hands-on, customer-facing field position supporting gas generation systems at client sites. You’ll ensure reliable performance of high-spec nitrogen generators, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with end users and distributors to deliver exceptional service and support.

 


What you will be doing:

  • Perform on-site installation, commissioning, and validation of nitrogen generators and related gas systems

  • Integrate systems with laboratory instrumentation (e.g. LC/MS)

  • Conduct preventive maintenance, performance verification, and calibration activities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues to ensure minimal downtime

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers and distributors

  • Deliver user training on operation, maintenance, and safety procedures

  • Maintain detailed service reports and ensure compliance with internal quality and safety standards


What you must have:

  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience)

  • 2+ years’ experience in gas generation, compressed air systems, or related laboratory/industrial equipment

  • Proven mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

  • Familiarity with analytical lab environments and instrumentation (LC/MS preferred)

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Willingness to travel frequently across the assigned territory
