Overview:
Our client is  a technology-driven Toronto-based law firm, is expanding its Family Law practice, and currently looking for a talented and experienced Family Lawyer to join their dynamic team. Our client is a leading law firm that provides comprehensive legal services in Family Law, Business Law and Real Estate Law. What you will be doing:

  • Produce domestic contracts unique to the clients’ circumstances (prenuptial and cohabitation agreements).

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediation, and negotiations.

  • Provide legal advice concerning family law matters such as divorce, parenting, child support, spousal support, and property settlements.

  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including but not limited to pleadings, motions, and agreements.

  • Develop case strategies based on the client’s needs and potential outcomes.

  • Conduct legal research to support case preparation and keep current with recent developments in family law.


What you must have:

  • Licensed to practice law in Ontario.

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience specifically in Family Law.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in managing multiple cases with minimal supervision.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a professional demeanour.

  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

  • A demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.

  • Proficient in legal research tools and software.


Salary/Rate Range: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
