Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Payments, to join our dynamic product team. This role plays a critical part in delivering modern, reliable, and member-centric payment solutions. You’ll own the strategy and execution for key payments capabilities, balancing member needs, regulatory requirements, risk, and operational excellence.


What you will be doing:

  • Own and drive the payments product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and member needs.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for payment solutions—from discovery and business case development through delivery, launch, and continuous optimization.
  • Partner closely with technology, operations, risk, compliance, and marketing to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant payment experiences.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies across the Canadian payments ecosystem to inform product decisions.
  • Use data, insights, and member feedback to prioritize enhancements, measure outcomes, and continuously improve performance.
  • Develop clear product requirements, business cases, and success metrics, and influence senior stakeholders to gain alignment and support.
  • Act as the subject-matter expert for payment products, representing product interests in cross-functional forums and initiatives.
  • Ensure delivery remains on track with agreed timelines, scope, and budgets, proactively addressing risks and dependencies.


What you must have:
  • 7–10 years of product management experience, with significant exposure to payments or money movement.
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian payments landscape, including Interac e-Transfer, payments modernization, Real-Time Rail, and open banking.
  • Experience navigating fintech and payments capabilities within Canadian regulatory and infrastructure constraints.
  • Expertise in digital money movement, including e-commerce payments, prepaid programs, and card-based solutions.
  • A proven track record of taking complex products from concept through delivery and optimization.
  • Solid understanding of payment systems, enabling technologies, and regulatory considerations.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working in agile, fast-paced environments.

Nice to have:
  • Certification in Product Management or Agile methodologies.

Salary/Rate Range: $102,900 - $122,000
