Overview:
As a Senior Manager within Commercial Banking Products, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering solutions that support commercial and small business clients. You’ll be responsible for guiding product direction, setting clear priorities, and ensuring initiatives in your portfolio are delivered successfully. This role also includes leading and mentoring a team of product managers, with a strong focus on driving positive outcomes for both customers and internal teams. You will partner closely with senior leadership and report to the Director, Commercial Banking Products.


What you will be doing:

• Build, mentor, and inspire a team of product managers, encouraging continuous growth and development.

• Create and execute product strategies and roadmaps that reflect business goals, stakeholder input, customer insights, and risk considerations.

• Analyze commercial lending and deposit pricing and design pricing approaches aligned with financial targets and risk tolerance.

• Oversee the commercial product portfolio, with accountability for performance, results, and profitability.

• Collaborate with executive leaders and cross-functional partners to identify opportunities to enhance customer value, manage risk, enable technology improvements, and drive revenue growth.

• Strengthen and standardize product management practices to support consistent, high-quality delivery across the team.

• Step in where needed to remove obstacles, support execution, and ensure strong delivery outcomes.

What you must have:

• At least 6 years of product management experience within financial services, supported by post-secondary education in Business or a related field (or equivalent experience). Background in commercial or small business banking is an advantage.

• Demonstrated success delivering banking products in large-scale, complex, and multi-vendor environments.

• Strong expertise in product risk management, including regulatory and compliance considerations throughout the product lifecycle.

• Working knowledge of industry best practices, compliance standards, and modern banking product frameworks.

• Hands-on experience applying agile methodologies in regulated environments.

• Experience with pricing analysis for commercial products, including margin management, competitiveness, and risk trade-offs, is an asset.

• Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations and translate strategy into actionable plans.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholder groups.

• Experience incorporating user experience and journey design principles into product development is an asset.

Nice to have:

• Product Management or Business Analysis certification.

• Master’s degree in a related discipline.

Salary/Rate Range: $116,500 - $140,000
