What you will be doing:

• Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for industrial, infrastructure, and heavy civil projects.

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to define project scope, risks, and opportunities.

• Develop budgets from preliminary sketches, conceptual designs, and project specifications.

• Obtain, review, and evaluate quotations from subcontractors, suppliers, and manufacturers.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, engineers, and industry partners.

• Participate in site visits, pre-tender meetings, and coordination meetings as required.

• Identify value engineering opportunities, cost-saving solutions, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Prepare bid packages, closing strategies, and supporting documentation for tender submissions.

• Assist with post-tender feedback, change orders, and lessons learned.

• Maintain and update estimating databases, historical cost data, and software tools.

• Provide guidance and support to project teams on estimating procedures and electrical scope.

What you must have:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in industrial construction

• Strong knowledge of Electrical systems, materials, and construction methods in Canada.

• Experience using estimating software, spreadsheets, and cost-tracking tools.

• Ability to read and interpret complex Electrical drawings and specifications.

• Bilingual (French & English) – Asset and NOT mandatory

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Team-oriented, professional, and accountable, with excellent communication skills.

• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, with at least 3 days per week in the office.

Salary/Rate Range: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00
