What you will be doing:

• Develop and maintain productive relationships with our clients.

• Stay informed of general and business developments / practices and their impact on our clients.

• Preparation of working papers and appropriate support for completion of financial statements on files.

• Preparation of corporate tax returns and advising on regulatory filings.

• Compilation of information for personal tax returns.

• Prepare federal and provincial sales and information returns for all types of entities.

• Comfortable working in a paperless environment.

What you must have:

• CPA designation.

• 5+ years public accounting experience, including financial statement and corporate tax preparation.

• Previous experience working with CaseWare/CaseView, Word and Excel is essential, familiarity with TaxPrep and various accounting packages is desirable.

• Knowledge of multiple industries and investment holding companies an asset.

• Ability to work on multiple engagements at the same time.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Proven abilities in the areas of accounting, assurance and tax compliance services.

• Sound decision-making ability and professional judgment.

• Works effectively, independently and in a team environment.

Salary/Rate Range: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00
