What you will be doing:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement lean strategies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) to achieve organizational goals and improve overall manufacturing efficiency. Oversee production scheduling, materials planning, and workflow management.

  • Process Improvement: Identify, analyze, and eliminate waste (muda) through Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Standard Work, Kanbans, and Kaizen workshops.

  • Culture & Training: Cultivate a continuous improvement mindset, mentoring employees at all levels on lean tools and techniques. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) initiatives.

  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) using daily management. KPIs include safety, quality, OTIF, productivity, inventory turnover, lead time, labor efficiency, and gross margin. Foster a culture of accountability.

  • Gemba Walks: Regularly conduct Gemba walks to engage with shop floor staff, identify issues, and promote root cause analysis.

  • Workflow Optimization: Redesign layouts, material management, and production flows to create flow for an efficient, connected, and safe work environment.

  • People Leadership: Lead and manage all manufacturing operations for assembly & test. Direct supervision and development of 50+ production, engineering, and supervisory staff.

  • Collaboration: Work with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Maintenance to ensure seamless operations. Support new product introductions (NPI) and design for manufacturability (DFM) initiatives.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, ISO standards, and quality management systems.

  • Finance: Develop and manage annual operating budgets.


What you must have:

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive manufacturing experience, preferably in electronic equipment manufacturing.

  • Minimum 5+ years in a leadership role managing teams of at least 40 employees.

  • Strong background in Lean Manufacturing principles.

  • Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience driving measurable operational improvements.

  • Proven ability to manage high-mix, low-to-mid volume electronic production environments.

Strong knowledge of:

  • PCB assembly (SMT & through-hole)

  • Electronics testing and validation processes

  • ESD controls

  • Production planning systems

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP experience a plus)

  • Strong data-driven decision-making capability.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills.


Salary/Rate Range: $150,000.00- $175,000.00
