Overview

Our client is a growing mission-driven organization dedicated to environmental sustainability and the circular economy. We are seeking an experienced sales leader to serve as a Senior Manager of Sales and Business Development. This individual will be the primary architect of the organization's sales engine, designing scalable B2B processes and leading high-stakes consultative engagements to drive the next chapter of the company’s expansion.


What you will be doing

  • Design and Implement Sales Strategy: Act as the lead architect for the sales department, building a scalable and repeatable engine for long-term growth.

  • Strategic Pipeline Management: Identify and secure enterprise-level opportunities, managing the full lifecycle from initial prospecting to contract execution.

  • Complex B2B Consultative Selling: Lead high-level negotiations and sales cycles with C-suite executives in the Sustainability, ESG, and Operations sectors.

  • Architect the Sales Motion: Develop and refine B2B sales processes for a multi-service platform, expanding into new verticals such as data services and waste diversion.

  • Revenue Ownership: Establish and meet quarterly and annual revenue targets while providing the executive team with data-driven market analysis and forecasting.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Product and Tech teams to optimize solutions based on customer feedback and real-world pain points.


What you must have

  • Proven Growth Leader: 7+ years of professional sales experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role scaling a B2B sales team.

  • Complex Cycle Expert: Demonstrated success managing long-term, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with deal sizes ranging from $50k to $500k+.

  • Solution Sales Master: Deep proficiency in consultative selling frameworks (e.g., SPIN, N.E.A.T., or similar methodologies).

  • Domain Expertise: Prior experience in logistics, SaaS, or ESG sectors; specific knowledge of food systems or organic diversion is highly valued.

  • Mission Aligned: A genuine commitment to sustainability and circular economy principles.


Salary/Rate Range: $125,000 Base ($175,000 OTE) + stock options + benefits Location: Vancouver, BC (Remote flexibility available with occasional travel)
